We ship via Postal Service. In special cases we can ship: UPS, Common Carrier, and FedEx. It’s been our experience that the Postal Service is the most cost effective and FedEx the fastest (and most expensive). UPS is ideal if you get special commercial rates. Call our shipping experts if you are unsure what carrier to specify. We will only charge you the actual cost of shipping. We no longer ship COD. Believe it or not, as bizarre as it sounds, too many people have refused the order and we've had to pay the freight both ways
"Hold for Pick Up" orders . . . It is a sad narrative on modern times but we've been burned too many times with charge card fraud on orders sent to a freight depot with a "Hold for Pick Up" instruction. We will now require a fax or photocopy of the customers drivers license (both sides, please) and a fax or photocopy of the charge card. Of course when using a money order or certified check none of the above will be necessary. Those paying by regular check will have their order held for two weeks, before shipping, while the check clears.
Fair Deal Mail Order Return Policy:
We want you to be happy with our products. If after you inspect them, and you are not happy, return them, but please call us first so we can advise you on the best way to resolve the return. We know buying “mail order” can be inconvenient at times and want to smooth the return process as much as possible. We have been doing this for many years, so take advantage of our expertise and call or write us before returning products.
Unfortunately the un-ethical spoil it for the rest of us. Too many of these unscrupulous characters ordered products, used them for a holiday or a job, then returned them for a refund or exchange. This type of behavior costs everyone.
We have now started a Fair Deal Mail Order Return Policy. This policy is simple, we know that ordering from a catalog can be dicey, so if your are not happy with a product shipped to you, return it, unused, within 30 days, for a refund or exchange.
Items you cannot return…no matter what!
Military surplus, food stuffs, first aid/medical supplies, books and videos. If you use the product, you must keep it. If it fails while you use it, return it for a warranty repair or replacement under the manufacturers warranty terms. Warranties apply to commercial goods only. MILITARY & MEDICAL SURPLUS HAS NO WARRANTY!
In store return policy . . .
No returns, refunds, or exchanges, after all you can see and handle the products. Of course if the product fails, and it is a commercial product, we will process a warranty claim for you, under the manufacturers terms.
Goods damaged in transit. . .
Our shippers inspect every shipment to insure that the goods shipped are the goods you ordered and that they are undamaged when packed. When you receive your order inspect the package carefully noting any damage to package such as crushing, pokes, tears. Should you see any damage to the packaging, inform the freight carrier and mark these notes on the waybill when you sign for the goods. This needs to be done should the goods be damaged. In fact, if you suspect the goods are damaged, it is a good idea to immediately open the package and inspect it while the carrier observes. INSPECT THE PACKAGE! ALL DAMAGE CLAIMS MUST BE MADE WITH THE CARRIER!

When ordering by phone, fax or mail:
Have your name, shipping address, & phone number ready, we’ll need this information first. With regards to a shipping address, we will not ship to “General Delivery” or “Hold for Pick Up” with out multiple confirmations, such as copies of drivers license, birth certificate, military I.D. cards etc. Sorry but we’ve been burned to many times.
Next will need the description of the items you want, as well as size, color and quantities.
Last but not least we’ll need the method of payment. With charge cards, we need the number, expiry date, card security code, card holders name as it is spelled on the cards and the card holders phone number.
Oh! One more thing! We have no control over the world events, and as such specifications of the products offered may change without notice.
